Established with a capitl of 25 million yen at 1-1 Kita-Sanjo-Nishi, Sapporo City. With extermely difficult food conditions facing the Japanese people as a result of Japan's defeat in World War Two, and as a remedy for this problem, the "Processed Marine Products Supply Regulations" were established as a part of a national policy to realize the smooth supply of animal protein which was of the utmost importance for the prosperity of the Japanese people. The company was established as a means for collecting and shipping processed marine products which had been officially approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, through a general consensus of food processing companies in Hokkaido who were working hard to accomplish a national mission, thus making its start as a trading company which dealt in processed marine products throughout Hokkaido. |

Assimilated and merged with Asahi Reizo Co., Ltd., which was located in Tokyo. Having taken into consideration such things as the preservation of the supply and demand as well as the quality of marine products from Hokkaido, maintaining the prices of these products, and the financial aspects involved, it was felt that it was urgent to have freezing facilities for marine products in a consumer area. And, with the company having made extensive investment in Asahi Reizo Co., Ltd., since there was mutual agreement of opinion regarding the matter of the succession of all of the operations of that company for the purpose of the smooth management of the marine products business, our company assimilated and merged with Asahi Reizo Co., Ltd. |

Purchased Freezer No.2 from Hakodate Teion Soko Co., Ltd., which was located in Kaigan-cho, Hakodate City. Through cooperative efforts with Asahi Reizo Co., Ltd. in Tokyo, an even greater level of efficiency in our freezing operations was planned. |

With the right of ownership of the Tomoe freezer which had been owned by Tomoe Reizo Co., Ltd. of Hakodate transferred to The Hokkaido Takushoku Bank, Ltd., due to the bankruptcy of Tomoe Reizou Co., Ltd., Dohsui leased that freezer from the bank, thus taking another step forward in its frozen storage business. |

Converted a skating rink of Asahi Reizo Co., Ltd., and began regular storage operations there. |

In order to replete owned capital, te capital was increased to the amount of 50 million yen. |

Partly due to a demand from our customers, our trucking business was started as a business related to the regular storage business. |

Purchased the No.2 Freezing Plant of Nemuro Suisan Co., Ltd. from that company, and began operations as the Nemuro Freezing Plant, for the main purpose of producing processed raw materials. |

Purchased the Hakodate No.2 Freezer, which the company had been renting since November 1954, from The Hokkaido Takushoku Bank, Ltd. |

Disconinued the operations of the No.1 Freezer of the Hakodate branch because the facility had become dilapidated, and because of the existence of a surplus of storage space in the southern area of Hokkaido. |

To ensure the stable business operations of the Hakodate branch, renovation was begun on the freezer and office, and completed in June. |

The Storage Department of the Tokyo branch was abolished, the building was demolished, and the construction of an office building was begun. With the completion of this office building in February 1988, it was immediately leased in its entirety to Sumitomo Realty and Development Co., Ltd. |

With the extreme dilapidation of the facilities at the Nemuro Freezing Plant, this plant was almost completely demolished, and construction was begun on a new freezer and fresh fish processing plant. These were completed in August. |
